Two Years in the Land of Beauty

Two Years in the Land of Beauty "In the summer of 2015 my husband and I received our invitations to serve in Uganda with the Peace Corps. We arrived in Uganda in June of 2016. Then, after two and a half months of training, we swore in as Peace Corps Volunteers in August of 2016. We live in South-East Uganda, where I am serving as a Health Education Volunteer and my husband as an Agribusiness Volunteer. I share my experiences and reflections in my blog. In addition, I do a "photo highlights" post every five weeks. Yours is the Earth

Yours is the Earth This blog is a place for me to share stories, both mine and those of people I meet. Through these stories, I hope I can keep my friends and family updated about my life in Ukraine as well as provide some insight into Ukrainian culture and way of life. Although I am unpracticed in the art of blogging and admittedly not a naturally gifted writer, I will do my best to entertain and educate, and hopefully keep you coming back for more.
