820 Days of Peace

820 Days of Peace My name is Emily. I'm a TEFL Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine from Tennessee, fresh out of college from the University of Dayton. Currently trying to avoid the mountains of potatoes and not slip on ice during half the year, I'm doing my best to teach, learn, and live in the charming village of Rodnykivka. Join me as I try to speak Ukrainian and the many adventures that ensue!   Latest posts on http://820daysofpeace.weebly.com/: [wp_rss_retriever url="http://820daysofpeace.weebly.com/feed" items="6" excerpt="50" read_more="false" new_window="true" source="false" thumbnail="75" cache=“10600"] ...

Our blog is about sharing our thoughts and feelings about our expat lifestyle, as well as about our family travel adventures. Their little one has inherited a strong gene for wanderlust and has been to 6 countries before his first birthday. So far between Jules and her partner the two of them have lived and worked in 13 countries and we have an international family move coming up in 2018. Maple and Marula

Maple and Marula I’ve been many things. A university English instructor, a picker upper of dead bodies, a musician, and a sales guy. My work brought my family and me from Vancouver, Canada to Pretoria, South Africa in September 2016, and I’m still wondering how that happened. I started this blog mostly because my friends back in Canada kept asking me how things were in South Africa, and posting about my experiences seemed more efficient than repeating myself hundreds of times. Maple and Marula is a way for me to make sense of my new surroundings as an expat who has no idea what I’m doing.   Latest posts on http://mapleandmarula.com: [wp_rss_retriever url="http://mapleandmarula.com/feed" items="6" excerpt="50" read_more="false" new_window="true" source="false" thumbnail="75" cache=“10600"] ...

The Peace Traveler

The Peace Traveler Hello everyone, my name is Samantha. I am a California native who joined the Peace Corps in 2013 and started this blog as a way to document my PC journey, but along the way morphed it into a way to share all my travel experiences and gastronomic adventures. I hope my detailed account of my Peace Corps service in Kenya gives future volunteers a glimpse into life as a volunteer and provides helpful information for what to expect when preparing to serve. Or if you’re not a PC Volunteer, inspires your next great adventure. Happy travels!!   Latest posts on https://thepeacetraveler.wordpress.com/: [wp_rss_retriever url="https://thepeacetraveler.wordpress.com/feed" items="6" excerpt="50" read_more="false" new_window="true" source="false" thumbnail="75" cache=“10600"] ...
