Community Engagement ScholarshipThis scholarship is offered in the memory of Kalyn Elizabeth Peterson whose life was cut tragically short in 2010. Kalyn leaves behind a legacy of promoting diversity and putting others'needs before her own. From a young age Kalyn volunteered her time at a major hospital and was involved in several other civic organizations. Recognized for her abilities to bring about the best in others, Kalyn's talents to help others less fortunate will be memorialized through the recipient of this scholarship.
The award from this scholarship began in 2011 and is offered exclusively for participants enrolled in an ISA Service-Learning program. The Kalyn Peterson Memorial Scholarships are financial need-based scholarships that assist students with the expenses of their ISA Service-Learning program abroad

Application Deadline - Offered year round Christianson FellowshipThe InterExchange Foundation Christianson Fellowship provides funding to young Americans eager to help further cultural awareness through meaningful volunteer experiences abroad. Fellows set up their own projects with an organization abroad and contribute their skills and passion to that endeavor for at least six months on location. Grant awards range from $2,500-$10,000 and are meant to defray the costs a fellow incurs while abroad, e.g. housing, food, transportation, and travel insurance.
