I had a wonderful experience getting TEFL certified with Máximo Nivel. Although the course material and assignments can be a bit rigorous, especially as someone working a full time job at the same time, I feel like it prepared me well for actually teaching. This course is ideal for someone who has a lot of other stuff on their plate, because it's self-paced and online. The modules took me about 3-4 months to complete, and then the practical teaching component is a week of online teaching with an instructor observing. Because you're working 1-on-1 with the instructor, you get detailed and personalized feedback on your work.
