Great experience in Tokyo

While my host company maybe wasn’t the best fit for me, I am grateful for the overall experience, and the community team in Tokyo did everything they could to make the experience good for everyone. The only thing I will say is that you will not be guaranteed accommodation with other Beyond Academy interns - so it might be harder to make friends if so. Overall good experience.

Japan has always been a place I wanted to visit (as my grandad used to work there) and now having worked, lived and travelled around Japan, it has become a pinnacle moment of my youth and is helping me navigate my future goals. The support from friends and community coordinators made it that much more enjoyable and easy, everyone was there to welcome and support one another. Take that nervous next step, because I promise you it will be worth it, fortune always favours the brave.

Was a great experience loved meeting loads of different people along the way it was very fun plus my internship was fantastic, if you doing tech, it’s a very good place to get full job experience. Overall 100% recommend this to anyone seeking something adventure, culture and fun !!
