Tico Lingo - Spanish Immersion School

I brought a group of High School students to Tico Lingo for a Spring Break (8-day) Teen Camp that was custom designed for us, and I couldn't be happier with our experience. Chris and his talented teachers, staff, homestay families, drivers and guides went above and beyond to interact with our students and make sure they had the time of their lives. Chris was particularly good at connecting with the kids, taking great pictures, being flexible, and communicating with all of us, as well as our students' parents at home. He sent daily updates and pictures to the parents! As a chaperone/public school teacher, I greatly appreciate how much I got to rest and enjoy Costa Rica and my spring break. We will be back next year for sure, and I can't wait to stay with my host family again as they were truly special ❤️

My experience with Tico Lingo helped to grow my love and passion for the Spanish language and culture. The amazing food, kind people and fun activities enhanced my trip and made it something to remember. My host mom was very welcoming and really made me feel cared for, the counselors and teachers were understanding and helpful, and the different activities allowed me to experience Costa Rica in a fun and interesting way throughout my time with Tico Lingo.

Tico Lingo was an amazing experience. I made some new friends that I will forever be thankful for. This program has introduced me to so many things I never thought I would do, like white water rafting, which was so much more fun than I thought. We experienced so many places and things here in Costa Rica that we all enjoyed. We went to an animal sanctuary, roller skating, La Fortuna volcano and much more. I also really appreciate my teacher, Profesora Marlin, and my homestay mom, Rita, for the most amazing two weeks. This experience was amazing, but tiring, and I will miss it so much!
