Guided by accomplished journalists and professors, students in our Berlin program step into the role of foreign correspondents, reporting from Europe’s cultural capital. Over the course of three weeks, they explore topics ranging from art and architecture to migration, sustainability, and politics, while producing stories across various media platforms, including writing, photography, video, and social media. Berlin, a city shaped by both vibrant counterculture and complex history, offers a dynamic backdrop. Students learn essential skills, including interviewing (with or without interpreters), identifying stories in unfamiliar settings, and editing features. Program Highlights
Spend a day exploring Potsdam’s historic landmarks, including Sanssouci Palace and Cecilienhof, where WWII peace negotiations took place.
