Spanish Work Exchange Programme

I would never have been able to find this perfect internship position if I were looking on my own. I wanted to get experience in the management department of a hotel because I already have had lots of experience in other departments such as reception, F&B and housekeeping. This internship prepared me to become a hotel assistant manager. Now I feel more confident to take the next steps in my career towards my goal to become a good hotel manager. I will be always grateful for this life changing experience Spanish Work Exchange Programme offered to me.

I had the best time of my life so far and I really enjoyed working in the hotel business. Spanish Work Exchange Programme organized my internship very professional. My colleagues in the hotel were all Spanish and I was forced to improve my Spanish knowledge quick because they all encouraged me to communicate in Spanish with them. The hotel guests have been very international and therefore, I got to know different cultures. I spend more time in the office but for the organisation of some events and some VIPs, me and my colleagues managed the communication with the hotel guests. I can recommend this internship program to get experience abroad in the marketing department. Of course, I love the golden sand of the beautiful beaches in the south of Fuerteventura and in the north which are also gorgeous. I did my internship in a 5-star hotel, the accommodation was nice in an apartment close to the beach and the food had a good variety for a staff canteen.

The company Spanish Work Exchange Programme organized my internship very quick. I was a bit late. In just 2 weeks my internship was organised, and the agency also helped me to get the Erasmus documents done. I did my internship in the Public Relations Department in a 5-star hotel on Tenerife. I had full board and free accommodation, no additional costs for me. More interns have been with me in the hotel, so we enjoyed our spare-time together.
