Our internship focuses on current events, which requires us to be highly flexible and able to think on our feet due to changing weather conditions and the availability of boats and dive sites. Sometimes, plans can change at the last minute. As an intern in this program, you may have the opportunity to come up with innovative recycling ideas, participate in beach and dive site cleanups, assist with mooring buoy replacements, contribute to the repopulation of coral nurseries (for those trained in Reef Check), conduct surveys, help with Adopt A Coral maintenance, test water quality, and possibly engage in emergency net removals.
