Tourism and hospitality account for such a large amount of internships in Madrid, because of the vast size of the industry, with over six million tourists visiting Madrid annually. A tourism internship in Madrid is sure to be exciting, and give interns the chance to interact with people from all over the world. If you see yourself interning in a hotel, restaurant, resort, or even as a tour guide, navigate the winding, cobblestone streets daily, then tourism and hospitality internships in Madrid are for you!

Business internships in Madrid are plentiful. Every major Spanish company has either their headquarters or an office located in Madrid. My summer internship in Madrid.

November 02, 2025by: Victoria Bauernfeind - GermanyProgram: International Internships in Madrid

This summer I decided to do a 6 week internship in Madrid. I did my internship at a small company in the area of social media marketing and website design. Overall I had a very good working experience and I really enjoyed my team and co workers. My internship also was 100% on site and not remote, which I actually enjoyed. It was nice to go to work every day and to have a routine, especially when you are in a new city and don’t know so many people yet. I also had another intern with me at my office, which I enjoyed a lot. I really enjoyed Madrid as a city. I‘m from Europe and have already been in most capital cities but in my opinion Madrid is one of my favourite ones. The city is very safe, clean and beautiful and there’s a lot to do in your free time.
