Internationally Accredited Online TEFL/TESOL Courses

I want to say a big thank you to everyone from the TEFL Training College team. I had lots of questions to start with concerning doing an online TEFL course instead of a face-to-face one, but Dr Thomas was so patient and helpful by answering my endless questions before I signed up. After that, I had a great tutor who guided me and supported me throughout my studies. I managed to dedicate a couple of hours per day during the week to study and as much as I could during the weekend, to finish my modules as soon as I could. I was so proud of myself when I finally completed my course and received my certificate. I couldn’t have done it without all the support I received and now I can look forward to a prosperous career as an English teacher.

Having dedicated quite a few years to working in a bank I was ready for a change but not just a change of jobs, as I also wanted a change of lifestyle and climate. As I always had gone to Thailand for holidays I chose to move there permanently as soon as I could secure a position. I had researched online TEFL courses and found great reviews from the ones provided by the TEFL Training College. I took a leap of faith and started a Certificate course. I was very impressed with how thorough the course was and I really enjoyed learning how to become an English teacher. I had the full support of my wonderful tutor, who was very patient with me and helped me throughout my studies. I graduated feeling very proud of myself and applied for a position in Chiang Mai. I am now living such a different life compared to 6 months ago that I wonder what took me so long. I teach many kids and they are an endless source of joy and laughter during the day. I enjoy my new pace of life, the culture and nature around me and already had the opportunity to visit Burma, which isn’t too far. So, for anyone out there who is need of a change of pace and lifestyle, the first step is to enrol in one of the TEFL Training College courses, just like me, and you will soon be living the life you deserve and always wanted!

Contrary to many people who enrol for a TEFL course to go and live and work abroad, I am a housewife who found myself with the opportunity to teach a few English lessons to some children from my local community center, as we had a great influx of immigrants lately and they don´t speak a word of English. I thought as a native speaker it would be easy to teach someone to speak English but I soon found out that I was very wrong about that. A friend suggested to look up some lesson online but I realised that I could do much better than that if I knew how to do it properly. I decided to do an online course and was greatly surprised at how pleasant it was to learn about TEFL teaching and all it´s required in order to prepare a lesson and enter the classroom with confidence. I graduated in less than a month and now I am a confident TEFL teacher who knows what to do and how to respond to my lovely students who are getting better and better at speaking English. I can only thank everyone at TEFL Training College who made my studies so easy and gratifying. I felt encouraged and supported as a student myself and can only hope to mimic that to my students.
