Bushwise Field Guiding Online Course

Bushwise was best the training provider I could find ! 6 months worth of unforgettable memories. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting to be in this industry as the professionalism and standard of training prepares students for real life scenarios.

I undertook the online nature enthusiast course through GVI/Bushwise. Initially communication was confusing as I was receiving differing information form GVI and Bushwise(Sister Companies) in relation to course registration, however this was resolved. Information on the Bushwise website was misleading in relation to costs and what is included in the course but after some discussion, GVI/Bushwise accepted the constructive comments and actively sought to provide the content stated and amend the online information so that is accurate for future participants. The course itself was well constructed with excellent content and access to online masterclasses and webinairs. Communication is generally very good although a couple of emails to Trainer went unanswered in relation to course content questions. The cost is expensive but I feel it is worth it although I do feel more material should be provided. Please note that this course is effectively the Introductory to Field Guiding Course, it is just titled differently which is where I believe that the aim of increasing financial revenue against accurate course information had become confused. GVI have the exact same course with Bushwise advertised as: African Nature & Wildlife Course. I would have liked to have seen a module relating primarily to research which is my main interest and is one the practical courses that they offer in South Africa so would have linked nicely. I feel that with a little more attention to detail, this can go on to be excellent and offer many opportunities for like minded individuals whom have the passion, interest and finances to pursue such a career path. I would recommend GVI/Bushwise but please be vigilant of checking all information relating to course, content and costs.
