A Semester in Sydney With CIEE

The staff were incredibly friendly, approachable, and always willing to help, especially when I was feeling a bit alone or just wanted something fun to do. The program itself is fantastic; there’s so much to do and explore in Sydney, and being at UNSW made it easy to take advantage of everything. Overall, it’s such an energizing and supportive environment, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to study abroad in Sydney!

It gave a great mix of opportunities where you will not only be learning in the classroom, but also within the community. I appreciated that I had the opportunity to talk with community members and give back whenever possible. Additionally, the staff and excursions really made me feel at home in Gabs.

Studying abroad in Italy has been a dream of mine for a very long time. I still remember being in high school telling my parents about how when I get to college I would spend a semester as soon as possible abroad in Italy. Everyone saw it as this silly pipe dream of mine, but I was serious. When the fall semester of my sophomore year rolled around, I was determined to make this ambitious dream of mine come true. I have always been fascinated with Italy's rich history and culture and to get to experience that for the very first time for such a long period of time was an idea so surreal to me.
