Experience Japan as a local through the Associated Kyoto Program (AKP)! This is designed for students who don’t just want to study in Japan but also want to live in the country. Every aspect of the AKP experience—from elective courses taught by distinguished faculty to weekly practica on Japanese culture to field trips around Kyoto—allows you to live in Japan as an insider and not merely a traveler. AKP is open to college juniors and first-semester seniors who are 18 years or older by their desired term’s application deadline and in good standing at consortium and non-consortium institutions within the US.
