150-Hour TEFL Certification Course

Overall, I was very happy with CIEE's 150-hour TEFL course. The course was entirely online, which made it very manageable to complete while working a full-time job, yet at the same time it had a really individualized feel––my teacher was very attentive and gave super helpful feedback, and there were ample opportunities to engage with her as well as with my classmates. In addition, the job placement assistance that CIEE gives you is second-to-none: they landed me a job offer from a great English academy in Chile before I even began the course, so that I could get the ball rolling with the visa process as soon as possible. I highly recommend this course for anyone looking to teach English abroad.

I think the CIEE TEFL course gives you a really well-rounded foundation to begin teaching in a foreign country. It taught me important details about teaching, lesson planning, and working in a new culture that I may not have considered otherwise.
